Vincent J. Avallone, DO

 

Specialty: Orthopedics

Dr. Avallone has practiced in Lebanon for 20 years, as well as in the nearby towns of Lancaster and Ephrata. He is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. Dr. Avallone is board certified in orthopedics and practices sports medicine for Millersville University.

In his spare time, Dr. Avallone enjoys reading, collecting coins and sports. He and his wife, Eleanor, live in Lititz, PA and have four children: Alyssa, Dana, Vincent and Nicholas.


John J. Moffitt, MD

 

Specialty: ENT

Dr. Moffitt has practiced in Lebanon for 17 years. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, which is where he also completed his residency. He is board certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery.

Dr. Moffitt’s hobbies include snow and water skiing, biking, golf and carpentry. He has lived in Lebanon for 17 years and has three children: Samantha, Anastasia and Matthew.


Glen J. Mesaros, MD

 

Specialty: ENT

Dr. Mesaros has practiced in Lebanon for 9 years. He is a graduate of Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and completed his residency at the Modigen Army Medical Center. Before coming to Lebanon, Dr. Mesaros practiced in West Point, NY. He is board certified in otolaryngology, facial plastics and reconstructive surgery, and specializes in otolaryngology and allergies.

Dr. Mesaros enjoys playing bass guitar, golf and riding his motorcycle. He and his wife have lived in Lebanon for 9 years and have three children.


Howard B. Melnick, MD

 

Specialty: ENT

Dr. Melnick has practiced in Lebanon for 23 years. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and completed his residency at Jefferson. Dr. Melnick is board certified and specializes in otolaryngology.

In his spare time, Dr. Melnick likes to study history, split wood for exercise and collect Stanhope’s (a small optical device that allow one to view microphotographs without a microscope). He and his wife, Jackie, have lived in Lebanon for 23 years and have three children: Dan, Ben and Stevie.

 


Raymond DeMaio, MD

 

Specialty: Ophthalmology

Dr. DeMaio has practiced in Lebanon for 14 years. He graduated from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia (now the Drexel University College of Medicine) in 1992, and completed his residency at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 1996. He is board certified and specializes in ophthalmology. He has also served as a physician provider for Mission Cataract Lebanon Valley (providing free cataract surgery for those who have no means of payment) for the last 13 years.

Dr. DeMaio enjoys playing golf and traveling in his spare time. He has lived in Lebanon for 14 years and has 2 children (Zachary and Alexa) with his wife, Laura.


James W. Bush, MD

 

Specialty: Ophthalmology

Dr. Bush has practiced in Lebanon for the past 18 years. He is a graduate of Columbia University and completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, both in New York City. Before coming to Lebanon, Dr. Bush practiced in Cherry Hill, NJ for five years. He is board certified in ophthalmology and specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma and diabetic eye care.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, working out and gardening. He has lived in Lancaster County for 18 years, and has two daughters (Julie and Jenna) with his wife, Carol.


Madhukar R. Patel, MD

 

Specialty: Urology

Dr. Patel has lived in Lebanon for 25 years and has practiced in the city for 24 years. He is board certified in urology and specializes in prostate, kidney stones and vasectomy reversal.

Dr. Patel's hobbies include playing tennis, reading and traveling. He and his wife, Minaxi, have two children: Mehul and Megha.

 


Leonard P. Ferrara, MD

 

Specialty: Urology

Dr. Ferrara has practiced in Lebanon for 21 years. He is a graduate of the Far Eastern University, one of the leading universities in the Philippines. He completed his residency at the St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Ferrara specializes in urology.

In his spare time, Dr. Ferrara likes to go boating, scuba diving and cycling. He and his wife, Alice, have three children: Teresa, John and Paula Marie.

 


Barbara A. Klatchko, MD

 

Specialty: General Surgery

Dr. Klatchko is a Lebanon native. She returned here to practice surgery 14 years ago, after initially practicing at Bryn Mawr Hospital near Philadelphia for nearly 7 years. She holds a bachelors degree in biology from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College in New York City. She completed general surgery residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, and breast surgery training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She is board certified in general surgery and specializes in breast and colon surgery and colonoscopy.

Dr. Klatchko's hobbies include traveling, playing bridge, and cheerleading for her son.


Robert A. Campbell, MD

 

Specialty: Anesthesia

Dr. Campbell has practiced in Lebanon for the past 18 years. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, MD, and completed his residency at Penn State in Pennsylvania. He is board certified and specializes in anesthesia.

He has lived in Lebanon for 18 years and enjoys playing tennis and guitar, and collecting coins in his spare time.


Donald D. Divero Jr., DO

 

Specialty: Pediatric Orthopedics

Dr. Divero has practiced in Lebanon for 11 years. He completed his residency at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA and his fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is board certified and specializes in pediatric orthopedics.

Dr. Divero lives in Lititz, PA with his wife and three children. In his spare time he likes to play golf, basketball and softball.


Peter E. Pityk, MD

 

Specialty: Anesthesia

Dr. Pityk has been practicing medicine in Lebanon for 22 years. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his fellowship at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He is board certified and specializes in anesthesiology.

 

 

 


Daniel Lorenzo, MD

 

Specialty: Pain Management and Anesthesiology

Daniel Lorenzo, MD is board-certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Las Vegas, NV. After his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and the University of Nevada, he completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Following an internship in Internal Medicine, he finished a residency in Anesthesiology at West Virginia University.  He then went on to complete a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Lorenzo spent the next 3 years in private practice in Las Vegas, NV where, in 2007, he was awarded Reader’s Choice Doctor of the Year by Summerlin Magazine.  He returned to Pennsylvania in 2010 with his wife and son.  He has extensive training and experience in the treatment of both chronic and acute pain via a contemporary multidisciplinary approach and expertise in a wide variety of interventional techniques. His practice includes the use of minimally invasive procedures, physical therapeutic modalities and medication management in the treatment of chronic pain.   He has special interest in the use of spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation in failed back syndrome.

Dr. Lorenzo is also a physician at the Lebanon Pain Relief Center.
