Daniel Lorenzo, MD is board-certified by The American Board of Anesthesiology in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Las Vegas, NV. After his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and the University of Nevada, he completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Following an internship in Internal Medicine, he finished a residency in Anesthesiology at West Virginia University.  He then went on to complete a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Lorenzo spent the next 3 years in private practice in Las Vegas, NV where, in 2007, he was awarded Reader’s Choice Doctor of the Year by Summerlin Magazine.  He returned to Pennsylvania in 2010 with his wife and son.  He has extensive training and experience in the treatment of both chronic and acute pain via a contemporary multidisciplinary approach and expertise in a wide variety of interventional techniques. His practice includes the use of minimally invasive procedures, physical therapeutic modalities and medication management in the treatment of chronic pain.   He has special interest in the use of spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation in failed back syndrome.
